Music at Trinity Church

The Skinner Organ

Trinity is blessed to be the steward of an Aoelian Skinner Organ that was given as a memorial to god's glory and in memory of the Rev. John Clark Dean in 1922. The restoration of the Skinner organ was completed in 2003 with a recital and rededication by Dr. David Hand, Organist and Professor of Music at General Theological Seminary in New York City. This well-maintained instrument provides a full and rich accompaniment and attracts visiting organists seeking the opportunity to perform with this exceptional and historic instrument.

Report from the Music Director Search Committee

Trinity has signed a convenant with Mr. Theodore Lentz to serve as our Interim Organist while our search for a permanent Minister of Music continues. Theo Lentz will be with us three Sundays a month, while Tim Hachmeister will continue to play guitar during the service on the other Sunday. In addition, Tim Hachmeister will also be serving in the capacity as choir director.

If you have any ideas, comments, questions or suggestions, please contact any member of the search committee. They are, Sue Draht, Judy Sheasley, Joy Perry, Cathy Callas, Mildred Maggese, Rev. Bill Lutz.

Contact the parish office for more information.
