Ministry of The Eucharist Study Group Through the Eucharist, we enter into the mystery of Christ who lived and died so we might have eternal life. What is this mystery and how do we understand it? An opportunity for people of the Chemung district to deepen their understanding of the Eucharist will meet Thursday afternoons at Grace Church, beginning September 6th and continuing through November 29 (no class on Thanksgiving Day). The class will involve teaching, prayer, sharing and discussion beginning at 4:00 PM with the opportunity to participate in a celebration of the Eucharist at 5:30 PM . Emphasis will be on developing a close relationship with the Eucharist. Trinity Church School for all children of the parish meets at 9:45 each Sunday in the lower level of the parish building. Youth Confirmation Classes Confirmation classes will be held weekly beginning September 28th at 9:00 AM in the Parish Library. Theological Education For All ! Includes curriculum and program ideas for adult/youth educational programs; on-line forums; resources on scripture, church history, & christian worship; a section for mediation called "Sacred Space;" and a new feature called "New Testament Gateway," exploring Christian ethics using an online collection of articles by respected thinkers.
